JOB DESCRIPTION
This vacant post is based in Niamey, NIGER, also with travelling to the mining site at Arlit, we are looking for an after-sales Inspector as soon as possible.
The after-sales Inspector represents JA DELMAS EXPORT on site, the responsibilities of the job are as follows:
- To be the principal contact person for our clients in the mines department
- To develop and maintain relations with the clients for whom he has responsibility
To achieve this, he/she will be responsible for:
* Optimising after-sales service
- Ensuring that after-sales service is rapid, efficient and appropriate
- Ensuring technical support for clients, applying the appropriate solutions
- Measuring client satisfaction
- Monitoring and if necessary coordinating the action of the different groups that contribute to after-sales service for mining clients
* Promoting products and services
- Promoting all products and services with our clients
- Contributing to the development of innovative solutions to meet the needs expressed by clients
* Monitoring proposals
* Ensuring profitability for clients (turnover, costs, margins, etc.)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Training: Minimum technical BTS (advanced technician's certificate)
Experience: at least 10 years experience as a technician in the field, if possible in Africa, and experience with a CATERPILLAR dealer or another manufacturer
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- English: operational level
- Knowledge of mining machines (preferably CATERPILLAR or O&K range)
- Knowledge of mining techniques
- Technical and commercial after-sales skills
- Knowledge of Africa or emerging countries preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Based in the capital with trips to the mining site – Job rotation 3 months on, 3 weeks off
