JOB DESCRIPTION
JA DELMAS EXPORT is looking for someone to work in the Technical department as Head of the Training Centre based in Africa.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Conducting theoretical and practical training sessions
- Taking personal responsibility for training the technical instructors in the network
- Directing and organising the team's different roles (including workshop training) by setting out objectives, determining means, organising and coordinating actions and assessing performances
- Taking responsibility for staff recruitment and integration
- Taking personal responsibility for prospecting for partnerships, contacts and follow-up
- Being a driving force in defining new offers, new opportunities
- Ensuring that accounting, commercial, social policies are respected and more generally the rules that apply to the training centre
- Ensuring that results and performance are monitored by liaising with the departments concerned
- Reporting regularly to the hierarchy. Suggesting improvements
- Ensuring that training equipment is in good working order, is maintained and replaced when necessary
- Communicating effectively both internally with all staff and representatives and externally with our partners and the different institutions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical Training: Baccalaureate + 3 years study with minimum 3 years experience as Instructor
The successful candidate must demonstrate very good organisational skills and methods. He/She will be autonomous and adaptable, and will be an excellent communicator with future colleagues.
He/She will be motivated by this challenge, and will be an excellent team manager and make the training centre an efficient and outstanding resource
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
A good level of knowledge in the following areas:
- Public works and / or mining equipment
- Diesel Engines
- Power Shift and hydrostatic transmission
- Hydraulic Equipment
- Electricity
- Good command of written and spoken language
- English: good level
- Knowledge of Africa preferred
