JOB DESCRIPTION
The vacant post is based at the Zouérate mine in MAURITANIA, we are looking for a Technical Coordinator as soon as possible
The successful candidate will represent JA DELMAS EXPORT at the client's site, based at the SNIM mining site. The job involves providing after-sales service for the new machines sold, ensuring quality of service for all the machines for which you are responsible: availability and maintenance costs.
You maintain and develop good relations with clients and you are always available in case of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.
Your work involves ensuring that the manufacturers' technical rules and site safety regulations are respected.
Your duties are to work on behalf of the client:
- monitoring machines under guarantee
- assisting when intervention is required under the terms of the guarantee, reporting breakdowns (SIMS tickets)
- assisting with the organisation of repairs and maintenance
- writing technical reports, appraisals
- ensuring availability of machines under contract
- producing regular activity reports for your direct superior based in Bordeaux
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical BTS (advanced technician's certificate),
Some initial workshop or on-site experience is required
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- English: operational level
- Good level of knowledge in Mechanics, Diesel, Hydraulics, Electricity, Electronics, Welding
- Knowledge of materials handling and mine safety regulations
- Ability to interpret manufacturers' instructions and read technical diagrams
- Ability to assess machine breakdowns
- Knowledge of mining materials (application and conduct)
- Some initial workshop or on-site experience is required - Knowledge of Africa or emerging countries preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Based at the mining site - job rotation 3 months on, 3 weeks off
